Radfords - Hi-Fi,
Home Cinema and Bespoke Home Solutions in the South
West.
Radfords is a family run business
established over thirty years ago in 1973 by Graham
Radford and two partners. Graham who had trained as
a television engineer saw the importance of the television
and other technologies that were being launched at
this time. The Early '70s were also the time when
Japan started to show it's dominance in the consumer
electronics market which Graham took to his full advantage.
Radfords has also been a very important
part of the city of Bristol , having always been based
here and at one point having three shops in the city.
We have sponsored a number of music festivals, worked
with a number of local charities and employed a large
number of local people as well as being a founder
member of the Bristol Hi-Fi Show. Our relationship
with this city of Bath since the early '80s when we
opened our shop there has also been a close one, again
having for a number of years run events along side
the Bath Music Festival.
Radford's staff have always been
very important to the organisation many of them moving
on to bigger and greater things, From humble beginnings
on the shop floor at Radfords we have Tim Pickard,
now a director of an investment bank in Sydney, Jason
Gould, senior sales rep for Naim, Chris Tuck, senior
sales rep for KEF Reference and the list goes on!

Glenn Abrahams

Our resident Quad expert Glenn has been with the company
since 1991 and divides his passion for two channel

of Quad valve amps or what kind of oil works best
in a Ducati 996 then Glenn's your man!!
Del Higgins

Del 's been with Radfords since 1988 and for that

Chris, who joind Radfords in 2004 after a stint with
Sextons Car Audio has a keen interest in home cinema

a new project!
John Savage

John is one of our longest serving employees having
started way back when Wham were still topping the

very little John does not know about this market.
